Introduction

Welcome to HappieStays! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and website ("Platform"). HappieStays is a rental marketplace connecting tenants with KYC-verified agents and property owners across India. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HappieStays, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your ongoing acceptance.

User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on HappieStays.
Agents are required to complete KYC verification (Aadhaar/PAN + selfie) before posting listings.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Use of the App

You agree to use HappieStays only for lawful rental and property listing purposes.
You must not post fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate listings on the platform.
Spamming other users, collecting data without consent, or abusing the unlock system is prohibited.
Agents who receive fake or manipulated reviews may be permanently suspended.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on HappieStays are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written permission. User-submitted listing content remains the property of the submitting user, but you grant HappieStays a license to display it on the platform.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.
Agents posting fake listings or fraudulent KYC documents will be permanently banned.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting our support team.

Limitation of Liability

HappieStays is a listing and discovery platform — we are not a party to any rental agreements between tenants and agents/owners. We do not guarantee property availability, agent conduct, or listing accuracy. In no event shall HappieStays be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Third-Party Links

The Platform may include links to third-party services such as Razorpay for payments. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
